Overhead Protocols
The UTD Overhead Protocols course is a mandatory prerequisite for entry to UTD Cave Diving courses.
This course takes place in unobstructed environments generally at a depth of 10 meters or less, and introduces the student to line placement and removal, following the line in the dark, contact communications, skills critiques carried out in zero visibility, loss of line, separation from companions and light failures. Once these skills have been learned, the course introduces a series of simulated failures related to contact with the guideline.

Cave 1
This course covers the basic principles of cave diving and introduces the skills and knowledge required to conduct penetrations and navigations following the main guideline of an underwater cave. The training emphasizes awareness, dive planning, cave environmental peculiarities, stress management, environmental stewardship, standard and emergency procedures, dive techniques, troubleshooting, and about the risks of cave diving.

Full Cave
Full Cave Diving teaches you complex underwater navigation skills as you learn how to manage a traverse, jump, T, and gap within a cave system. Performing advanced cave dives is as technical as it gets and will take you to exciting dive locations worldwide.
